Pesto Rigatoni with Sundried Toms & Burrata

Yes, I absolutely eat pesto year round you guys lol As the weather cools down, I shift from fresh, summery vibes, to heartier pesto recipes like this gorgeous Pesto Rigatoni with Sundried Tomatoes!

The recipe is super simple and I provided 3 different pesto recipes you could use. Some aromatics in the form of garlic, shallots, onion, and sundried tomatoes, good wine, grana padano, lemon, and a batch of gorgeously green pesto. It finishes with pasta water for that dreamy, creamy, glossy pasta we crave.

The pesto is really fresh and wonderful and you get pops of sundried tomato flavour in every bite. Finished with a nest of dreamy burrata that always takes things to the next level. This recipe is absolutely delicious you guys so get on over to the RECIPES page.

Chili Dogs & Sprague Three Bean Plant-Based Chili Review

Two new posts coming out for you guys here! I'm always eager to try new products I spot at the market because let's be honest, homemade is always best but who doesn't love a weeknight shortcut?

I was really craving chili dogs so I snatched up a can of Sprague chili and my favourite Yves brand Jumbo Dogs. Assembly is simple; boil and grill those dogs until blistered and gorgeous. Warm up your chili and assemble. Some shredded extra old cheddar for funk and richness, some diced onion for flavour and crisp, and some sliced jals for additional crisp and welcome heat.

These dogs hit the spot you guys! It's always astounded me how close the plant-based dogs compare to the real thing.

Romania Bans Fur Farming <3

Romanian Parliament overwhelmingly supported a ban on fur farming and has voted to end the industry by January 2027. This monumental victory will spare hundreds of thousands of mink and chinchilla from abhorrent cruelty. Fur farming is on the way out you guys! Learn more under the ANIMAL NEWS tab!

Coconut Paneer & Chickpea Red Curry

Coconut based curries are my absolute fave. That wonderful, slightly sweet, coconutty flavour against the heat of the chilis and richness of the curry, it's like, my fave. Green, yellow, red, I love them all!

I actually whipped this up as a result of finding the paneer cubes in my freezer after my last shop. I had totally forgot about them and didn't want to see them go to waste; so a gorgeous red curry came to be. Garlic, ginger, chilis, coconut milk, red curry paste, basil, fried paneer, and chickpeas, simmered until rich and creamy.

I served mine up with some fluffy basmati rice and naan. Such a comforting bowl of curry with just the right amount of heat to keep those tastebuds tingling lol Head to the RECIPES page.

Smashed Tater Caesar Salad

So I had been seeing that viral smashed potato salad all over the internet, and it had always been in the back of my mind as something I needed to try soon. I just so happened to have the tail end of a Caesar dressing in the fridge from previous recipes, so it was time to create.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with this delicious tater salad. It starts with a quick boil until tender, some smashing and seasoning, and baking until golden brown and perfectly crisp. Once completed, it's as simple as tossing everything together in as bowl and serving it up.

I loved how the dressing soaked in to the warm taters and although they weren't like, snap crisp any longer, they retained a lovely texture in the salad. The romaine was nostalgic, the onions were a crisp necessity, and the heaps of grana padano and finishing squeeze of lemon rounded everything out. Y'all need to try this. Get to the RECIPES page <3

Hashbrown Patties

Who doesn't love crispy, golden hashbrown patties? The perfect accompaniment to a delicious breakfast or frankly, the perfect potato snack. I found a recipe online that I tagged in the post and got to work.

There were some trials and tribulations with this one you guys but I was able to switch gears and save them. Once fried, they were crispy, they were golden brown and inviting, and absolutely delicious. I'd happily eat a batch of these without blinking an eye.

Ravioli Lasagna with Whipped Ricotta & Pesto

Can I just say that I'm literally obsessed with this recipe and I intend to recreate it multiple different ways. Look, I love lasgna, who doesn't? This ravioli lasagna is so easy, bakes up gorgeously, and really gives you that lasagna vibe without as much effort with the noods.

I had some whipped ricotta in the fridge so I just used that and made it in to a creamy ricotta filling. I whipped up a batch of my gorgeously green pesto and some blended roasted pepper tomato sauce.

Assembly is simple! Layer noodles, sauce, mozz, more noods, filling and finish with noods, sauce, pesto, cheese. Bake until gorgeously golden out of the oven and voila! Y'all are going to love this recipe, I'm telling ya! get on over to the RECIPES page!

Caesar Sprouts

I'm always looking for new ways to prepare brussel sprouts because they're definitely one of my favourite veggies. I lean towards roasting them in most cases because I just find that they're their tastiest when roasted.

So, I roasted some sprouts you guys lol but it's the garnishes now that take them to that next level. I had some leftover Caesar dressing in my fridge and thought that this idea would give them some oomph.

The sprouts are dressed in EVOO, pep flakes of course, and some garlic. Once tender out of the oven, it's simple! Dress them in Caesar dressing, make it rain grana padano all over that tray, finish with a pinch of salt & parsley and ENJOY! They're so delicious you guys! Head to the RECIPES page <3

Whipped Ricotta Crostini with Dill & Garlic Roasted Toms

I just love making crostini you guys. They're quick, delicious, and let's be honest, you can't beat crisp, grilled baguette. It's my fave!

I made a batch of dreamy whipped ricotta which is one of my favourite things. I roasted a tray of medley tomatoes dressed in EVOO, smashed garlic cloves, heaps of pepper flakes, salt, and fresh dill until perfectly roasted and slightly charred. I finish them under the broiler for some charred action. I love the contrast of colours with some charring.

Assembly is simple. Grilled baguette rubbed down with garlic, creamy whipped ricotta, roasted tomatoes, some grana padano, and finished with fresh dill fronds. Delightful! Head to the RECIPES page.
