A local farm sanctuary suffered a tremendous loss after a fire that started throughout the night destroyed their barn and took the lives of some of their precious animals who were unable to be saved. One of the staff members awoke to the cries of one of their donkeys, alerting them that there was danger but by the time she had got to the barn, it was engulfed in flames preventing her from entering and rescuing any of the 7 animals trapped inside.
Charlotte's rescues animals from the farm industry among others and rehabilitates them on the property giving them the opportunity to live a quiet, happy, and natural life surrounded by loving, compassionate people who dedicate themselves to the well being of animals. To date, they have rescued a variety of animals including guinea hens, goats, turkeys, donkey, and dogs / cats caring for them all on the property. This is a tragic loss of life, property, and I'm sure, moral, which is why it's important to help these organizations that rely on the generosity of compassionate people, especially in their time of need. If you would like to make a donation to Charlotte's Freedom Farm, follow the link below this to their GO FUND ME which has already raised over $20, 000 dollars. Every dollar donated goes toward helping them rebuild and continue to care for the animals on their property.
