I am constantly battling with myself as far as what direction I want to take next in life. As I approach my final days at my current job, an air of uncertainty has come over me and I am left wondering what to do next.
Being that I took Hospitality Management it would seem natural that I would be looking for work in the Hotel or Restaurant industry. I can't seem to picture myself in a Hotel though as odd as it sounds. I was all for the idea prior to graduating but as I've developed my blog I've realized I love food so much more than I ever thought. Going to Culinary School would be wonderful but it also would likely put me in the position where I would be utilizing meat products and I can't possibly cook with meat or bones or anything of that nature. In a perfect world, I`d travel the world searching for the best Vegetarian Hotspots and share everything on my blog. Oh what a dream it would be. There are so many foods out there that are undiscovered by my palate and I hear them calling out to me. Why was I born in Windsor instead of like, Europe lol

The holiday season is over and 2016 is the start of a better year. I am undecided as to where I want my life to head in 2016. I am not going to stay at my current job as it is not fulfilling to me and really not pertinent to my studies (Hotel / Restaurant Management) but as far as having an idea of where to start applying, no clue!
I obviously decided against my trip to Ireland on a Working Holiday. There were many factors that contributed to cancelling but mostly just my family. Considering my mothers passing was so painful for us all, traveling across the globe just doesn't seem fitting at the moment. I started looking at work all across Canada mind you and applied here or there but nothing concrete. Here's to starting 2016 with an open mind and high hopes! |
