It's a good day in the world of animal news today y'all as I'm reporting on two big stories involving fur. You guys know my opinion of fur, it's a completely unnecessary product that stems from the abhorrent abuse of animals. These animals are bred solely for fur often times living in deplorable conditions, fattened to three or four times their natural size to produce more pelt. When you consider that fashion and technology has come such a long way, there's absolutely no need in using animals any longer. That's why I'm so happy to report on these big stories :D
California has a reputation for being a leader in the animal rights movement. Californians reputably care for animals and their well being so it is a natural progression that these communities look to ban the use of fur. It's time to put an end to an industry that relies solely on breeding, manipulating, torturing, and skinning animals for fashion.
Fur has always creeped me out I mean, when you think about famed serial killer Ted Bundy who had a penchant for manufacturing apparel and home wares made of the skinned remains of his murdered victims, what's the difference really? How is that any more loathsome than wearing fur? The skin of the animal is still attached to the fur like, you're literally wearing a corpse. How in the hell can anyone honestly think that that's appropriate? It's legitimately repulsive to me.
I'm so happy to report on these stories because I truly believe withing the next 5 years, we will see a complete ban on fur across the globe. Am I being optimistic? perhaps, but these stories keep coming and in abundance so I believe we are on the right track to see the end of fur products worldwide. Being optimistic is all you can be when it comes to the suffering of animals, we must continue to sign the petitions, share the stories, and report on them continuously to demonstrate that we as a global community care about animals and no longer want to see them utilized for shit like animal testing for cosmetics or fur for coats and bags.
