Wholly Veggie came to be with the idea that the world would be better off if we all ate more veggies. Not just more veggies, but less of all the junk food that is legitimately worthless for our bodies.

With this idea in mind, they created three burgers, each of which is packed with a variety of veggies! Their green burger contains veggies like broccoli, peas, and spinach, while their red burger contains beets, black beans, and red pepper. It's a great way to get an additional serving of veggies in your meal without changing your eating habits necessarily!

I purchased the Green Patties after spotting them for the first time at my local grocery store (Food Basics for those in Windsor!). I must admit, green patties are super fun and I was so excited to fry them up and see how they cooked / tasted.
They cook as easily as any other burger and get a nice crust on the outside from frying while retaining their unique green colour. They definitely had me feeling hungry because I could really pick up on the garlic while they sizzled away. But how do they taste you ask?

Delicious! I tried one with cheese and one without so I could get a better taste of the patty. I found them to be so delicious and flavourful. There was such a reassuring feeling of knowing exactly what I was eating and having it taste great to boot! In my opinion, they're worth every penny I spent on them.

They're soy free, vegetarian (they contain egg whites), dairy-free, and non-gmo. They're full of veggies and ingredients that are familiar which is absolutely wonderful for our nutrition. What else can I say? Get out there and grab a pack in the fresh section of your grocer.
