My Top 5 - Meatless Products

I have pretty much tried every meatless product available on the market to date. If it's available I've tried it! There have been some products I absolutely loved, some I wasn't so sure about, and some I just couldn't stand!

I've compiled a top 5 list of my absolute favourite meatless products.


 

#5 - YVES VEGGIE BREAKFAST LINKS


My only "Breakfast" contribution. These links were the perfect way to re introduce saltiness to my breakfast. After quitting meat, breakfast sort of fell to the wayside. These links are absolutely delicious.
They provide that familiar texture and flavour without having any meat whatsoever.

I like to have a a nice big fresh fruit salad, a yogurt, and some of these links for a pretty balanced breakfast that hits on all the flavour sensations one craves at breakfast.

Don't forget! They are much less fatty than regular links so you're saving some calories and fat as well!.

# 4 - The entire TOFURKY deli line

When I ate meat, I hated lunch meat. It tasted so synthetic when compared to its on the bone varieties.

The first time I tried TOFURKY I was nervous it would remind me too much of the slimy, odd looking lunch meat of lunch past. WHAT A SURPRISE!

They are moist without being slimy, super flavourful, and texturally pleasing!

With a great selection of familiar favourites, break out the sub buns because lunch has been saved!

#3 - GARDEIN CHIPOTLE LIME CRISPY FINGERS

SO DELICIOUS! Not only is one of my favourite flavours present, (lime) but these strips deliver in every way!

Nice and crispy while still managing to be juicy and tender on the inside. I actually found myself loving these MORE than any real chicken strip I'd ever had.

# 2 - YVES VEGGIE GROUND ROUND

For so long I missed out on all of my mothers' scratch made favourites. Every time she would make Shephards Pie I would curl up into a ball and just whine, knowing I was not going to be able to have even a taste!

Along came YVES Veggie ground. AT LAST, I would be reunited with some of my childhood favourites! It soaks up flavours wonderfully and really works in place of ground beef perfectly. Try it in Manwiches, Shephards Pies, or even your favourite pasta sauce!

# 1 - GARDEIN CHICK'N SLIDERS

Ok, so I know I've mentioned these before but I had to scream their praises once again! There has not been a "burger" product in the 12 years of being a vegetarian that I have enjoyed as much as these!

Crispy and juicy on the inside, these baby burgers can be topped with just about anything and taste AMAZING!

Just remember, always use the oven method versus microwave for best results in my opinion. :)
