They were however only 1.99 euros for a 4 pack which is totally a great value. I also loved that they were neutral in flavour so you could really top them with whatever you wanted successfully and enjoy them. Unfortunately, I wouldn't call them burgers necessarily because as I said, they were more like mashed potatoes formed into patties and dipped in bread crumbs.
With that being said, I'd probably eat them again but might eat them more as a snack as opposed to a protein rich meat substitute. The What's Cooking line also featured some Spicy Bean burgers and a Cauliflower burger that I'm looking forwards to trying so I'm not ruling this company out yet. BYPASS OR BUY? BUY - Look, they're not burgers, but they're tasty enough, cheap, and they've intrigued me enough to want to try the rest of the line. If you get past the fact that they lack texture, they taste good and that accounts for something doesn't it? HAPPY VEG
