Green Giant Cauliflower Tots

Another great product from Green Giant that I was very much looking forward to trying was their Cauliflower Tots. A few weeks ago I reviewed their new broccoli tots and absolutely loved them so I just had a feeling these were going to hit the spot!

These looked a lot more like traditional tater tots than the broccoli tots did. They were a familiar colour and shape which I imagine would make them an easy swap for kids!

They baked up beautifully and got nice and crispy on the outside which I absolutely loved. I also loved how seemingly creamy they were on the inside. The contrast between crispy and creamy on the outside was magnificent. 

I loved that one serving of the tots contained one full serving of cauliflower. Getting enough veggies in a day is so important and this is a great opportunity to slip an extra serving into your day! 

There is one small problem with these delicious tots. A serving is considered 6 tots and comes along with 15% of your daily sodium allowance. This is especially troubling if you're anything like me and wanted to devour the whole darned bag in one sitting! Make sure to keep it to one or two servings to reap the benefits of the cauliflower without pummeling your body with a whole day's worth of sodium!

I loved this product and I look forward to trying their other varieties! Find them in the frozen vegetable section of your supermarket!
