Hilary's - Broccoli Casserole Bites

I was so excited to spot these little gems at the Superstore this week. I don't make it out to the Superstore as often as I would like, but when I do, I'm always lucky enough to spot a few products I just have to try. I was especially excited to try these after trying the Hilary's World's Best Veggie Burger. Although I didn't find it to be the very best, it was certainly tasty and full of wholesome ingredients.

These little bites are made up of mostly millet, broccoli and white beans, making them extra good for you. I love that Hilary's brand carries products that only have pure, wholesome ingredients without any fillers or freaky sounding ingredients. It leaves you with peace of mind that you're eating something good for you.

​Visually, these little bites are lacking. They looked like they were going to be dry and crumbly upon being baked but I was pleasantly surprised. The bites were moist on the inside thanks to the beans and boasted a very strong flavour of broccoli which was great.

Aside from being a little high in saturated fats per serving, they provide a reasonable amount of dietary fiber and no cholesterol. 

To eat them on their own isn't very exciting, but I suggest heading to their website for inspiration because they post recipes with their products that look quite tasty. As I said, on their own they're pretty good but with a little inspiration, I can see them being extra delicious!
