What I loved about the patties, was how nicely they crisped on the outside. That crisp was the perfect contrast to the pillowy, potato filling. Although they were small, they were perfect for halving and serving on a sub roll. I paired them with avo, spinach, mayo, and pea shoots, and they were pretty fabulous.
Now, the confusing thing to me is how they're labelled. It says, "Veg Burger Patty" on the front of the box which to me, implies they are good to enjoy as burgers. I would put mayo, mustard, relish, pickles, ,cheese, lettuce, tomato, hot peppers, and avo on a regular burger. Some of those toppings would not pair well with these "burgers". I feel like a different description is in order. Being overly picky aside,, they're pretty good. Just plan on enjoying them a different way than your traditional burger. Enjoy them as patties with a few sides like mashed taters, steamed / roasted veggies, or rice. You can also enjoy them on buns, but be mindful of those indian flavours when choosing your toppings!
