Linda Mccartney 1/4 Mozzarella Burgers

Not having a freezer at the hostel has made it incredibly difficult for me to try the assortment of take home products available at the supermarkets here. If I don't remember to purchase them on my days off and eat them that day, then I really have no time for them because they'll get all gross and defrosted in the fridge. With that being said, I was craving burgers and had the day off so I happily grabbed a box of the Linda McCartney 1/4lb Mozza Burgers. I have only had the privilege of trying her breakfast links which were phenomenal, so much so in fact that I've had them several times since so I must admit, I went into this taste test with extremely high hopes. Good ol' Linda couldn't let me down could she?

​Coming out of the package, they look just like any other frozen patty you'll find out there, meat or veg alike. The package recommends oven baking them so that's exactly how I decided to prepare them. Much like other burgers, they only required one flip throughout the cooking process to ensure even cooking and colour on both sides. I melted cheese on only one of the patties so I could really focus on the flavour of the burgers themselves. I also added mayo and crispy lettuce as well, keeping things simple. (I also had nothing else to put on them haha). The burgers are absolutely delicious! The patties have a firm and enjoyable texture, are extremely juicy, and have wonderful flavour. They really deliver on everything you want from a good veggie burger. I didn't taste mozzarella necessarily but the patty was so tasty that I almost forgot they advertised it as such. I think they're fabulous regardless, even without cheese :P 

BYPASS or BUY?
BUY!​ These are phenomenal. They give you everything you're looking for from a burger. Texture, flavour, and overall deliciousness. I'm hoping I can squeeze in one or two products from this line in before I head back to Canada. Grab a box today, you won't be disappointed!
