Oh Naturel! Chik'n Nuggets

I'm always on the hunt for new products especially with Gardeins departure from Canada. My latest trip to the grocery store turned up quite a few products I had not seen before including this brand of meatless products. 

I'm a big fan of meatless chik'n products! I usually find myself snacking on things like this late at night so I was looking forward to trying this brand. 

They're a little pale looking when you open the bag which is a bit of a turn off but no reason to disregard them. They bake up in 22 - 25 minutes and require one mid cook flip for even browning on the outside. When they finished, I was so ready to dig in and even offered a serving to my meat eating father who has recently engaged in some meatless products I've cooked.

I found them to be crispy on the outside and even quite juicy on the inside. The texture was pretty close to what I remembered chicken to be like and they had a great flavour. My father ate his entire serving and remarked that they were quite close to real chicken. If my father is convinced they were pretty close, I'd say they were pretty bang on as he still eats meat regularly.

Overall, they were delicious and comparable to a meat product. They are great for snacking or as a meal with a delicious salad on the side. Definitely worth a buy if you spot them at the market on your next trip!
