Oh Naturel - Garden Veggie Bites

The second product from Oh Naturel that I've tried and wanted to share with you guys. Oh Naturel products received a Best New Product award in the Meat Alternatives category and I can totally see why.

Boasting nothing but garden veggies, chickpeas, and spices, these Garden Vegetable Bites are wholesome and delicious. I love that there are no filler ingredients or weird sciencey sounding additions to the bites. That's something that reassures me that what I'm eating is good for me despite being a frozen product.

The bites are super flavourful and tender out of the oven. They would make a great addition to a salad or wrap but they're super delish to just eat on their own.

BYPASS OR BUY?

Definitely a buy! Good for you food that's full of nothing but veggies and chickpeas. I recommend picking up a bag on your next shopping trip!

Hello Pauline!

Chickpeas are super versatile and you could easily make these tasty little bites at home. Try blending up some chickpeas with your choice of cooked veggies (carrots, onions, peppers, broccoli etc.) along with your choice of spices. If the mixture is a touch dry, fold in some flour to help with sticking together. Simply roll into balls and bake at approximately 375 F flipping often to get them nice and brown on each side until golden.

You can also find these tasty bites at most supermarkets so maybe grab a bag for yourself, try them, and scope out the ingredients to make your own version at home :)
