I remember hearing about Gelatin a long time ago and being horrified at what it actually was. So horrified in fact, I blocked the knowledge of it and continued eating without reading ingredients. After having the (unfortunate) pleasure of witnessing the process of deriving it from bones in cooking class, I knew I could NOT possibly eat that any more. I had already refrained from eating candy as I knew it was in most of the candies I liked but now I needed to know what else it was in and if there were other options. Jello is made of it, it's used in candy, yogurt etc HOW DO WE AVOID IT! Agar Agar is a vegan substitute to Gelatin and has the same effect. Keep that in mind ! I personally enjoy Astro All Naturals as far as yogurt goes, they're delicious, creamy, and contain NO GELATIN!
