Washington Governor Addressed Wolf / Livestock Conflicts

Jay Inslee, Governor of Washington has addressed the continued wolf / livestock conflicts in the state by forcing the WDFW to come up with new, non-lethal rules in managing the wolf population. This will increase transparency and force the WDFW to actually look for reasonable solutions in dealing with these conflicts instead of resorting to slaughtering wolves. 42 Crew and 5, 800 Cows Die After Ship Capsizes

Another ship carrying innocent animals has capsized leaving 5, 800 cows to drown in the East China Sea. This comes off the heels of a ship that capsized off the coast of Romania leaving 14, 000 sheep dead. Roasted Mini Red Potato Salad with Asparagus & Dill Vinaigrette

Potato salad is a favourite of mine in any variation. Scratch that, potatoes are a favourite of mine in any of their various preparations. My love for taters knows no bounds and I'm always looking for a new way to enjoy them which is what inspired this super simple and delicious potato salad.

Roasted mini red potatoes, fresh asparagus, feta cheese, and a lovely, light dill and lemon vinaigrette tossed together and served warm. It's a different approach to fattier potato salads with all the same satisfaction.
