Tradish Meatloaf

This recipe is loosely based off of my mother's meatloaf recipe which I adored growing up. Look, meatloaf isn't revolutionary in any way, but what it is is nostalgic & delicious. That ketchupy glaze is so 80's / 90's and honestly, so delicious, I'm obsessed.

You can serve up meatloaf in a traditional manner with a side of veg and some kind of carb like mashed taters which is fab. You can also make the loaf like I did, refrigerate it, and cut it into slices for meatloaf sandwiches because that was always the best part. Cold meatloaf, yellow mustard, and toasted bread. It's an experience, believe me.

Montana Huntress Shoots & Skins Husky Mistaking It For Wolf Pup

Amber Rose Barnes went out looking for baby wolves to shoot and kill. When she found one, she proudly put a bullet in it, skinned it, and smiled in photos next to the skinned remains. When it was brought to her attention that she actually shot and skinned a domestic animal, she backtracked claiming she was in fear, only after admitting she made a mistake.

Amber Rose Barnes needs to be held accountable. The bigger picture though? The hatred towards wolves and the salacious yearning for bloodshed that fueled her actions. So motivated by anger towards wolves that she couldn't even tell the difference between a domestic animal. If wolves are not relisted, they will go extinct.

Fresh Corn & Sundried Tomato Pesto Tagliatelle

I love this tagliatelle recipe for so many reasons. First, the fresh corn is absolutely delicious in this pasta, popping with all of its juicy deliciousness as you bite in to it. Secondly, my sundried tomato pesto recipe is so easy and so flavourful, it really makes this dish extra special.

I shared my Walnut & Basil Pesto recipe and then simply rejigged things a little bit to create a sundried tomato variety with a little kick of heat. Everything I make needs a little heat and this recipe is no different.

Then, we're finishing with some tangy feta, fresh parsley, and nutty pecorino to finish everything off. It's easy, delicious, and perfect for a Meatless Monday meal.

Latvia Announces Ban on Fur Farming

Latvia is the next country to announce a ban on fur farming, effective in 2028. The ban comes after years of decline in the industry and general support for a ban. As we know, animals bred for their fur are kept in horrid conditions before being bludgeoned or electrocuted and having their skins ripped from their bodies. It's needless cruelty and blatant human entitlement.

Spicy Summer Flatbread

Fall is most definitely upon us so give summer a proper send off with my Spicy Summer Flatbread! It's kind of the perfect goodbye because it looks summery and fresh but it packs a welcome spicy punch, perfect for the cooler temps that have descended upon us.

Store bought flatbread makes easy weeknight dinners a cinch. Then, it's a collection of summery goodies like medley tomatoes, red onions, sundried tomatoes, and pickled peppers, along with tangy feta and melty pizza mozz. Once baked, she's crispy and delicious, fresh, and the right kind of spicy. Not too hot, but it'll give your mouth some tingling actsch.

Bill Aimed At Banning Wild Animals in Circus' - United States

A bill aimed at banning wild animals in circus' has been reintroduced in the United States. Animals in circus' suffer endlessly and are forced to perform over and over again while being denied anything inherently wild or natural to them. This exploitation is blatant and frankly, outdated. We know better than to allow this sort of cruel exploitation.

Cheesy Brown Rice Zucchini Boats

It's Monday, we're just getting started with our week, and we want something delicious but also easy to put together for dinner. That sounds like my Cheesy brown Rice Zucchini Boats!

The filling is quite easy. Some cooked brown rice, a sauté of veggies & herbs + walnuts, cheese, parsley, and egg. Once folded together, it's stuffed inside hollowed out zuccs, and finished with a crumb topping that couldn't be simpler.

Then, it's as simple as baking until golden brown and enjoying! They're cheesy without overdoing it, tender, and flavourful. Plus, they're so easy to make, perfect for a Monday dinner.

Conservation groups Sue to protect Montana's Grizzlies
