Bruschetta with Burrata

Is there a more summery snack than bruschetta? Fresh, gorgeous tomatoes, basil, a splash of EVOO, just the right amount of garlic, and gorgeous, toasty baguettes. I've gone ahead and added some burrata for something a little extra special.

Buttery Garlic White Beans

I'm obsessed with these cheesy, garlicky white beans. They're so rich and creamy, nutty from the grana padano, and full of flavour. Plus, they really couldn't be easier to make.

All it takes is a couple cans of white beans, some butter, garlic & herbs, grana padano, a little wine, and about 15 minutes of your time, and you've got these wonderul beans for a side dish, a stand alone, or spooned on top of a crispy, grilled piece of toast. Waffle Breakfast Sandwiches

These fun little breakfast sammies were inspired by a recipe I created for a brunch special at work. I modeled them after those McDonald's McGriddles; you know the ones with the pancakes for buns? Sweet and savoury coming together in every delicious bite!

It's as easy as a couple toasted frozen waffles, a fried egg & crispy hashbrown patty, melty cheese, condiments, and a good quality, organic maple syrup drizzle. The combination of sweet waffle, savoury cheese & egg, heat from the chipotle mayo & hot sauce, and finishing drizzle of maple, is literal perfecftsch. Head to the RECIPES page.

Sausage & RRP Pappardelle Bolognese

First of all, can I just say how much I love pappardelle pasta. I love how hearty the noodles are, perfect for a bolognese.

I went a different route with this bolognese and I couldn't be happier with how it turned out. I decided to omit tomatoes as I would normally add them, subbing in for additional tomato paste and broth. After a couple hours of cooking down, you're left with this rich, intensely flavoured sauce full of Beyond Sausage flavour, plenty of heat, and loads of veggies.

RRP Hummus Egg Toasts

Hummus is something I typically have in my fridge at all times, whether store bought or home made. It's a dip for veggies or crackers just as much as it's a spread for a lovely breakfast like these Roasted Red Pepper Hummus Egg Toasts!

It starts with my super simple, and super delicious roasted red pepper hummus recipe which I tagged in the recipe. Then, you toast your bread of choice, fry up some eggs, and garnish. That creamy hummus is so flavourful and mixes beautifully with a runny yolk.

Roasted Red Pepper Hummus

Look, I'm guilty of buying hummus when it couldn't be easier to make at home. I chalk it up to convenience, but the fact is, home made hummus is better & easy AF to make.

All it takes is a can of salt free chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice, garlic, oil, and and salt. From there, you just add in whatever flavour combination you want for your hummus. I did a roasted red pepper variety but you could do a dill pickle, a chipotle, or just a plain, simple, and delicious original hummus.

U.S. Introduces Legislation to End Mink Farming

The United States has introduced legislation to end mink farming in the country after the pandemic exposed serious flaws within the industry. Millions of innocent mink were euthanized to protect humanity resulting in a loss of millions of dollars in profits. Fur farming is disgusting, absolutely unnecessary, and a grotesque abuse of animals.

Beef & Rice Ranch Blasted Tacos

Tacos are definitely one of my favourite things to eat. I'm usually a soft taco guy, but I happened upon these Old El Paso Stand & Stuff Ranch Blasted Hard Shells and thought, huh, it's been a while and these look fun. That's basically how this recipe came to fruition.

I modeled these tacos after what I'd expect to get from a place like Taco Bell. You get your creamy Old El Paso refried black beans, seasoned Beyond Beef crumble, Old El Paso Mexican rice, and familiar garnishes including shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, and shredded cheese.
