The United States Fish & Wildlife Services is reviewing polar bears in order to determine whether current funding to protect them is adequate among other things. We waste so much time reviewing and going back and forth over whether climate change is real or whether sea ice is ACTUALLY melting that polar bears continue to suffer at the expense of our inactivity. HAPPY VEGI thought it would be fun to revisit recipes from every October since I started the blog. I'm warning you guys, there's a couple scary ones when this all started out lol Want to reminisce with me? Head to the RECIPES page. HAPPY VEGA whopping 35, 000 elephants are reportedly killed annually by hunters in Africa and Canada has yet to ban the import of ivory / trophies. We are undermining efforts across the globe aimed at protecting and rehabilitating elephants by our abysmal animal welfare record. We must take a stand and ban the ivory trade in our country. Elephants depend on us to do this at the very least. Learn more under the ANIMAL NEWS tab! HAPPY VEGA company called Colossal was just given an initial startup of 15 million dollars towards their reintroduction of the woolly mammoth. While they're reasoning behind the reintroduction is respectable, we are in the midst of an extinction crisis.
