Covid19 & Minks - It's Time to Ban Fur Farming!

Tens of thousands of minks in Utah have died from Covid 19. Millions of minks are being culled in Denmark after it was discovered that they not only catch the virus, but spread it in a mutated form to humans. Creamy Tomato Soup

Soup season is upon us which means if you're anything like me, you're eating soup as often as possible. I never really seem to crave soup until things start cooling off outside at which point I can usually have soup every day.

I've whipped up a creamy and delicious tomato soup recipe for you guys that I'm obsessed with. It's got a welcome kick of heat from pepper flakes (you can reduce the amount in the recipe if you don't love it spicy like I do) and is so velvety an delicious, you're going to love it!

I didn't include the grilled cheese croutons pictured in the recipe but they're actually super simple to make! I simply whipped up an ordinary grilled cheese using marble cheddar and fried it on each side until a little bit darker than golden brown. I removed it and let it rest for a minute or so before I sliced it in to cubes. Pretty simple and worth the time because there's something about grilled cheese sammies and tomato soup that are like, a match made in heaven.

Greece Imposes Stricter Penalties For Convicted Animal Cruelty

Greece is imposing some hefty penalties to those convicted of serious animal cruelty crimes including up to 10 years in prison and anywhere from 25 - 50 thousand euros in fines. This landmark ruling sends out the message that not only is animal cruelty not tolerated, but it is a serious offence that deserves a significant punishment. Learn more under the ANIMAL NEWS tab!

Denmark set to Cull 17 Million Mink

After discovering that mink not only catch the coronavirus, but transmit it in a mutated form, Denmark has made the decision to cull all of their captive mink in the country. 17 million mink are set to die which is an astronomical blow to a country that produces the most fur in the world. USFWS Being Sued AGAIN for Actively Working Against the ESA

The USFWS is facing yet another lawsuit after a new rule opened up 2.3 million acres of protected land for hunting and fishing despite the potential for disastrous effects on endangered animals like grizzly bears, ocelots, and whooping cranes. Big Cats - The Numbers

Almost every single species of big cat on our planet faces the possibility of extinction and their perils can all be traced back to humans. Whether we're hunting them for sport, poaching them illegally for their fur / bones, destroying habitat for human development or slaughtering them for interfering with animal agriculture, we are aiding in their possible extinction around every corner.

Cauliflower Tikka Tacos

Tikka masala is one of my favourite things to eat. Whether we're talking about chickpeas, cauliflower, or other mixed veggies, I'm absolutely obsessed with the flavours of tikka. Just the right amount of spice in a delectably creamy tomato sauce, what's not to love? That's why cauliflower tikka tacos had to happen, it's a natural fit.

Tender cauliflower simmered in store bought tikka sauce, crispy cabbage, shredded cheddar, Greek yogurt, cilantro and green onions in every delicious bite. The cabbage provides crisp against the tender, flavourful cauliflower tikka while the yogurt provides a cooling factor that brings everything together.

New Lawsuits aim to Tackle Leopard Trophies in the US
