I love hummus. I love how creamy and rich it is. I also love that it is a much healthier "dip" than what you will get in any sour cream or mayonnaise based dip thanks to the chickpeas. Chickpeas are full of protein, iron, and fiber and low in fats and cholesterol. Did I mention delicious?
I've got 3 hummus ideas I'll be testing today and I wanted to give you guys a sneak peek of what I had in mind. . . . *** SPINACH & ARTICHOKE Hummus A blend of chickpeas, tahini, pepper flakes, and spinach with artichokes worked into the mixture after blending. I see this one being delicious and with the spinach included, extra nutritious as well! *** ROASTED CHICKPEA Hummus A blend of roasted chickpeas, tahini, lemon, and garlic all topped off with fresh parsley, smoked paprika, and EVOO. I think the roasted flavour will add another layer to this hummus that will be so delicious. *** BASIL & AVOCADO Hummus A blend of chickpeas, avocado, basil, and tahini topped off with a fresh pop of parsley. Which hummus sounds best to you guys? I'm excited to test these ideas out today and share with you guys the results! We'll catch up soon! HAPPY VEG
