Die Speisekarte - "The Menu"

As my earlier post stated, I recently reviewed some old cookbooks I had collecting dust in my closet and came across some recipes that I knew would be delicious with a little updating!
This weeks menu has a main, an appetizer, and a side - all of which sound delicious and I look forward to sharing them with you!

1. Cabbage Rolls

My mother made the most delicious cabbage rolls growing up. I have not been able to locate her recipe and seeing it here was wonderful. I did however notice some unsettling things about this recipe. I can't wait to update and jazz it up for you guys!

2. Broccoli Onion Deluxe

Anything with the word "Deluxe" in the name usually spells disaster. Where's the herbs? Where's the pepper, garlic, FLAVOUR!?!?
Great concept here and I think I'll be able to turn into a delicious and flavourful side.

3. Dill Stuffed Mushrooms

The only thing that will be similar between our recipes will be the idea of stuffing the mushroom. Personally, dill and mushroom do not sound complimentary to me but I will try it their way before preparing it mine and let you all know!

I'm so excited to give these recipes a 2015 update and think you'll all just love them! As a matter of fact, I know you'll love them!
