This recipe is very close to my heart as it was probably our favourite recipe of my moms as kids. Every birthday that rolled around between the 3 of us kids had my mom making this dish. Very simple, and super delicious. We would regularly scarf our plates down as quickly as possible to get seconds before everyone else or before my parents began rationing what was left.
I have done a little tweaking to my mother`s original recipe obviously omitting the meat and replacing with veggie crumble. Please, try it, enjoy it, and get a taste of what my mother was all about <3 Want to know the best thing about the dish? It's all made in one large frying pan. Easy clean up to boot! **My moms original recipe did not specify how much spaghetti to use. (She was that good) I've listed 200 g but I would eye it out. Grab a couple handfuls, break them in half and see where you stand. I had to do a little adding after I put in what I initially thought would be enough so don't worry if you do a little adding after the fact, as long as all the noodles are cooked, you're golden!
