Creamy Polenta with Buttery Sage Mushrooms
Polenta is my latest obsession. I love everything about it from the texture, the colour, and the flavours, to how easy it actually is to whip up.
Mushrooms are not my favourite thing, I'm a big texture guy and the mushrooms have always set me off. With that being said, for some reason I love button mushrooms to the moon and back. They're mildly flavoured and don't seem to give me that texture issue so I try to enjoy them when the timing is right.
I have a deliciously creamy polenta served with mushrooms that are bathed in a buttery sage sauce that is utterly delicious. The combination of butter and sage not only enhance the mushrooms' flavour, but it also pairs quite perfectly with the flavours of the polenta.
This is one dish you guys are going to want to enjoy over and over again just like me!
